![]() ![]() When you complete a recurring task, it will automatically reset to the next occurrence so you’ll never miss it. For example, every day, every Friday, every 3 days starting next Monday, and more. ![]() At times, those recurring tasks need to have sub-tasks. To set a recurring due date, type the date into the task field using natural language just like you would for regular due dates. Next to the task, type an action for how often you’d like it to repeat. It’s such a simple feature, but it works very well with Todoist, so I use it as much as possible. If you use Todoist, you likely need to use recurring tasks to take your productivity to the next level. All you need to do is follow the instructions listed below. I can use reminder notifications to have them pop up on my phone, if necessary (like taking out the dumpsters every week – I get a ping on my phone on Thursday nights after my kids go to bed, so I don’t forget).
